According to a Hindustan Times story, residents of a locality in Indore pelted stones at health-care staff who went there to test people for signs of coronavirus. Two female doctors were wounded, leading to the attack.
In a video that has gone viral on the internet, protesters can be seen gathered in a mob at the 2 healthcare workers to attack and pelt stones, causing them to leave the place.

One of the female doctors who was attacked spoke about the incident on a video.
This isn’t the only case of violence against healthcare workers amidst the pandemic. In another shocking incident, doctors at Hyderabad’s Gandhi Hospital were allegedly attacked after a 49-year-old patient with “multiple illnesses” died of coronavirus, reports NDTV.
